Head Coach Daniel Nejamkin, Chile:
“The win is due to the fact that the team has worked hard and they did a great effort. It was a good match, we have three players with a high-level. Our aggressive serves and effective attacks gave us an early advantage in the first two sets and that gave us more confidence”.

Captain Rafael Grimalt, Chile:
“We were well prepared, we studied Tunisia and trained for that. To be honest, we did not believe that being here for many days was going to be an advantage. We are definitely happy and it is an important step beginning on top. Now we must concentrate for the next match against Mexico, which for us is the most important one”.

Head Coach Fethi Mkaouar Tunisia:
“Chile had a great performance, they had the advantage of being here for ten days previous to the tournament and their setter distributed the game very well. This is only one loss, the competition is just starting, and there is still tomorrow and Sunday”.
